Orion Live & Setsuzoku Records launching new project

Orion Live partners with American musician Gene Duarte for original project

Orion Live UK Ltd and its label Setsuzoku Records is teaming up with American heavy metal/hard rock producer, guitarist, and songwriter Gene Duarte (Lizzy Borden) to build and launch an original Sci-Fi themed ‘hybrid’ heavy metal project.

Inspired by his own experiences in Japan and the vast creativity and boundless talent of Japan’s music scenes, Gene’s vision is of a cross platform story-based project driven by a modern cinematic heavy metal sound and a truly Japanese pop-culture aesthetic.

‘Welcome to my post-apocalyptic sci-fi world of sight and sound, anime character storylines drive the songs and paint the pictures, and the music will be fueled by an experimental robotic guitar tone and Japan's best up & coming talented musicians who will bring it to life.’ Says Gene. ‘Great to see Japan's youth is keeping rock music alive and well in the world!’

Orion Live project co-coordinator Christopher Morris adds ‘This is a unique and exciting opportunity for us - to team up with a talented artist like Gene and use our experience to help his vision come to fruition. We can’t wait to see how this takes shape.’

・女性、17歳～25歳。

・多才な方、ロックやメタルのボーカル経験者優遇。

・ハードロック、メタル、インダストリアル、エレクトロニカ、J-ROCK等に影響を受けている方。

・コスプレ的な衣装への興味関心・知識のある方。

・現在、制限的、または専属的マネジメント契約を結んでいない方。(無所属が望ましい)

・多少の英語力があると望ましいですが、必須ではありません。

・音楽/アニメ/漫画を組み合わせたストーリープロジェクト。

・写真撮影やパフォーマンスに向け、衣装を必要とします。

・作詞/作曲に対するクレジット表記も

We are seeking two Japanese vocalists as co-leads. Conditions are as follows:

* Female, 17 – 25 years old

* Versatile, experience with rock or metal vocal preferred

* Influenced by hard rock/metal/industrial/ectro

nica/J-Rock

* Interest in and knowledge of costuming/cosplay

* Not currently under restrictive or exclusive management contract. Free agent preferred.

* Some English preferred but not required.

Project details:
